Previous Projects
During my time at university I had the chance to be involved with and work on several different projects. Each one of these ranged from laboratory style research to dramaturgical work on a devised musical. Here you can find a diary of sorts with some of the resources I made or wrote for these projects and some general insight to what they entailed.

01
So Basically...
This was my first dabble with dramaturgy and was the catalyst for wanting to take this further. "So Basically..." was a one act devised musical. As you can imagine for a bunch of first years this was going to be complete chaos, but nevertheless we tried our best and got to produce our piece. The production follows the unlikely combination of a group of Springbreaker’s who find themselves stranded on an island only to find that they are not the only ones there.
02
Be More Chill (The Pitch)
This project was a labour of love for a few months before I actually began working on this for a unit at University. The ultimate goal before plans changed and COVID graced her presence was to put on an extract of a musical, whilst working with members of our cohort. During this time I fell into the grip of Be More Chill written by Joe Iconis and adapted from the novel with the same name by Ned Vizzini. For the first portion of the unit I had to produce a pitch for the production that I wished to perform detailing all the logistics, finer details and challenges/risks that would come with it.

03
Sweeney Todd (With a Twist)
This was a whole class collaborative piece that took the audience through different stages of the musical, split across several different directors and three different casts. To put a long story short, everyone was performing including the audience and there was a lot of work to be done. I was one of those directors and I had a strange scene to put on. Here is what I had to prepare for my cast before the pandemic cancelled the performance.
04
Pronoun Showdown
This was the beginning, middle and end of my Major Academic Project. I had been working on this one for over a year before I actually started writing my final project. This all started as something fun to do before the academic year ended. The goal was to just perform it all in an in-house festival, but then spiralled into my MAP. Like many of these projects they never fully went ahead due to the pandemic, so here is what should have been with the all chaotic notes included.
